Step Teachers is seeking a KS1 Teacher to join its flexible pool of opportunities in Norwich. You will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum and adapt to the needs of various primary settings.

Ideal candidates hold QTS with UK school experience, strong classroom management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across different year groups. A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) is preferred.

Qualifications

• QTS with UK school experience and KS1 background.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
• Strong classroom management and clear communication skills as KS1 teachers.
• Adaptable and confident working across different year groups.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Follow school planning or adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
• Manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
• Assess pupil progress and provide feedback where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with support staff and senior leaders.
• Uphold safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times.
