Job summary

Class Mate Education Limited is recruiting a KS1 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in NG12. This full-time role starts in September and involves delivering engaging KS1 lessons, supporting early reading, phonics and maths, and assessing pupil progress.

The successful candidate will have QTS or a recognised UK teaching qualification, KS1 teaching experience, strong classroom and behaviour management, and a commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Qualifications

• KS1 teaching experience required.
• Strong understanding of phonics and early reading.
• Proven ability to manage classroom behaviour and adapt to pupil needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons across the National Curriculum.
• Support early reading, phonics and mathematics.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
• Promote positive behaviour and strong classroom routines.
• Support pupils with SEND and different learning needs.
• Work collaboratively with the wider school team.
