Job summary

Class Mate Education Limited is recruiting a Level 3 SEND Teaching Assistant to support children across EYFS and KS1 in a primary school in NG8, Nottingham.

You’ll help pupils with additional needs access learning, develop communication and independence, and make positive progress in their early education, with a September start and a daily rate of £100–£110.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Education, Childcare or a related subject.
• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• EYFS or KS1 experience.
• Understanding of early learning and development.
• Commitment to safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and targeted SEND support.
• Support children with communication and learning needs.
• Deliver 1:1 and small-group activities.
• Support phonics, early reading and communication.
• Encourage independence and positive behaviour.
