Job summary

Academics in Southampton is seeking a KS1 Teacher to join our clients' primary schools just outside the city centre. You will deliver high-quality lessons across KS1/KS2, manage classes effectively, and support pupil progress in a flexible supply role.

The role offers both part-time and full-time opportunities across Southampton, with ongoing support from a friendly recruitment team and a commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Recent KS1/KS2 teaching experience.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Confident delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across day-to-day, short-term, and long-term supply placements.
• Teach pre-planned lessons and adapt delivery to meet pupils' needs.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Support pupils' academic progress, confidence and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and adhere to safeguarding and school policies.

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable KS1 Teachers to work in our clients Primary School just outside of Southampton City Centre

Do you have the following?

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching in KS1 / KS2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum

Your day may include, but not subject to:
