Job description

This schoolis seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS1 Teacher to join a friendly and dedicated team. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, creative lessons to pupils in Year 1 or Year 2, helping them develop a strong foundation in core skills and a love of learning. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as KS1 Teacher:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons based on the KS1 National Curriculum

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Assess pupil progress, provide feedback, and adapt teaching as needed

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupil development

• Contribute to wider school life, including events, trips, and extra-curricular activities

Ideal KS1 Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A sound understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early learning pedagogy

• Experience in Key Stage 1 (or EYFS/KS2 experience with a willingness to adapt)

• Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills as a September 2025.

• A warm, nurturing, and reflective approach to teaching

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
