At GSL Education Lincolnshire, we are looking for an innovative, inspirational KS1 Teacher to join our primary division in Barton. This is a fantastic opportunity to start immediately, allowing the successful candidate to bring their skills and individuality to support our ongoing journey of improvement. In addition, we actively encourage Early Career Teachers (ECT) and Overseas Trained Teachers (OTT) to apply for this role.

The successful candidate is likely to have the following attributes:

  • Committed to raising standards, ideally with a proven track record of success.
  • Able to motivate and inspire children, staff, and parents alike.
  • A strong team player who works effectively with colleagues.
  • Experienced in managing behaviour, including supporting children with SEMH needs and those on the autistic spectrum.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and ready to embrace challenges.
  • Capable of creating a learning environment where children are stretched, challenged, and empowered to succeed.
  • A full-time teaching commitment in Key Stage 1 (initially).
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for the primary age range, or relevant qualifications.
  • A degree-level or equivalent qualification, such as PGCE in Primary Education.
  • Experience in raising standards across the curriculum.
  • A track record of providing a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for children with diverse needs.
  • Successful experience in implementing positive pupil and classroom management strategies.
  • Child workforce, enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service. If your externally processed DBS is without an Update Service subscription, you will need to submit a new application. Please note that GSL Education facilitates DBS applications via uCheck for your convenience.
