Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and effective KS1 lessons across the curriculum.
  • Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for young learners.
  • Assessing and tracking pupil progress and providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborating effectively with teaching staff and support staff.
  • Communicating clearly and regularly with parents and carers.
  • Adhering to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding guidelines.



Essential Criteria:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Proven experience teaching KS1 in UK primary schools.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.



Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience working as a supply teacher in a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and transition to Key Stage 1.
  • Knowledge of specific educational programs or initiatives used in primary schools (e.g., phonics schemes).
