Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a KS1 classroom in Rubery. The role is full-time and long-term, focusing on delivering tailored interventions for children with additional needs and keeping learners engaged throughout the school day.

You will need Level 2/Level 3 TA qualifications or equivalent, with proven SEN experience in KS1, and strong ASD/ADHD/SEMH understanding, coupled with excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEN, particularly KS1.
• Strong understanding of supporting children with additional needs (ASD/ADHD/SEMH).
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach.
• Willingness to support across the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Support children with SEN in KS1 classrooms.
• Deliver tailored interventions and enable engagement throughout the day.
