Job summary

Qualifications

• QTS (essential).
• Early Years or Key Stage 1 teaching experience.
• Experience with non-verbal pupils.
• Comfortable providing personal care.

Responsibilities

• Teach a small KS1 group through play, sensory exploration and routines.
• Support communication with non-verbal pupils using signing and symbols.
• Deliver personal care according to each child’s care plan.
• Collaborate with classroom staff and set daily focus.
• Track progress against targets and share updates with parents.
• Assist with supervision at lunchtime, playtime and trips.
