Job summary

Educators Connected Recruitment Ltd are delighted to be working with a fantastic primary school in Hitchin that is looking for a passionate KS1 Teacher to join their team.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a teacher who enjoys creating an engaging classroom and wants to work within a supportive, welcoming and child-centred environment. Pay is £180-£230 per day. You'll plan and deliver KS1 lessons, monitor progress and build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT working towards/holding QTS.
• Experience teaching KS1 or strong interest in KS1.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

The Ideal Candidate

We welcome applications from qualified and experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

You will ideally have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT working towards/holding QTS
• Experience teaching or a strong interest in Key Stage 1
• A good understanding of the KS1 curriculum
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A creative, enthusiastic and committed approach
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning
