Educators Connected Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fantastic primary school in Watford that is looking for a passionate KS1 Teacher to join their team.

This role offers a welcoming, child-centered environment where you can plan engaging KS1 lessons, support pupils' academic, social and emotional development, and build positive relationships with staff and parents.

We welcome qualified teachers and ECTs. A QTS or progress towards QTS is required; pay is £180-£230 per day.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT working towards/holding QTS
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
• Confident classroom and behaviour management
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative and purposeful KS1 lessons
• Create a positive, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
• Encourage confidence, independence and a genuine love of learning
• Monitor and assess pupil progress
• Adapt learning to meet individual needs
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
