Job Title: Qualified KS1 Primary Teacher

Location: Northampton, NN1

Salary: Dependent on experience

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Start Date: September

The Role

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire and support young learners at the start of their educational journey.

You will be responsible for creating a rich and engaging curriculum that builds strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and personal development, while supporting children's social and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to KS1 pupils
  • Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Monitor pupil progress and use assessment data to inform planning
  • Establish a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
  • Uphold high expectations for behaviour and achievement

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching in a Key Stage 1 setting
  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early childhood development
  • Excellent communication, planning, and classroom management skills
  • A genuine passion for teaching and commitment to pupil progress
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
