Desian Education is recruiting for a KS1 PPA Teacher in Southport. This role offers both Part Time and Full Time options, starting immediately and lasting long-term. The successful candidate will cover PPA across KS1, supporting planning, assessment, and ensuring continuity of learning.

You’ll work across KS1 classes, building strong relationships with pupils and staff. Ideal candidates will have KS1 teaching experience, a solid understanding of the National Curriculum, and excellent classroom

Qualifications

• Full Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willing to obtain
• Experience teaching KS1
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching practices
• Excellent classroom management

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging KS1 lessons during PPA cover
• Maintain continuity of learning and high pupil achievement
• Create a positive, inclusive, well-managed classroom
• Adapt to teaching across KS1 year groups
• Follow school planning and policies
• Monitor pupil engagement and provide support
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff
• Contribute to wider school life
