About the role
As a KS1/Lower KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to young learners, ensuring that each child reaches their full potential. You will be expected to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons, assess and track pupil progress, and report on attainment. Your role will include maintaining a positive and nurturing classroom environment where students feel safe and motivated to learn. Additionally, you will be involved in school trips, extra-curricular activities, and collaborative work with colleagues to enhance the overall school experience. You will also support the personal, social, emotional, and physical development of every student, playing a key role in their growth. As a team player, you will contribute to the school’s ethos and objectives, adhering to safeguarding and health and safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and shape young minds while developing your own teaching skills through ongoing professional development.

This is a permanent, full-time role with a September 2025 start date.

You should have a solid understanding of the primary curriculum and excellent behaviour management skills. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. You will be proactive in planning, organised, and committed to creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment. Experience working with children, a degree in Education or Teaching (or working towards QTS), and a willingness to engage in professional development are essential. We also value a good sense of humour, adaptability, and the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
