Job summary

Brunel Academies Trust is seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant and Lunchtime Support Assistant to help pupils access a varied curriculum and build confidence in and out of the classroom.

You will work with teachers and support staff to deliver activities, supervise breaks, and promote wellbeing and safe, positive behaviour in a nurturing environment. This role combines classroom assistance with lunchtime supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in KS1 settings is desirable.
• Able to assist with learning activities and adapt support to individual needs.
• Understanding of safeguarding policies and pupil welfare is important.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils to access learning activities and the curriculum.
• Assist with personal care, wellbeing, and behaviour in line with school policies.
• Supervise pupils during break times and lunchtime, promoting safety and positive engagement.
• Work with teachers and staff to create inclusive learning experiences.
