Responsibilities

• Promote school aims and ethos; support Headteacher in promoting the school’s ethos.
• Meet Teachers Standards and relevant pay/conditions documents.
• Follow school policies and support the Headteacher.
• Plan and prepare lessons delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and school schemes of work.
• Differentiate learning to meet all abilities and manage groups/individuals.
• Maintain safeguarding and welfare of pupils and communicate with parents.
• Collaborate with phase teams and supervise teaching assistants.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to curriculum reviews.
