Job summary

Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams across the UK to provide educational support for students out of mainstream education or needing additional help.

We are seeking a Tutor with QTS or equivalent to provide 1:1 tuition to KS1 and KS2 students, with flexible options including onsite, online or hybrid roles and dedicated team support provided throughout placement.

Qualifications

• Experience within the education sector is preferred (QTS teacher, cover supervisor, TA or tutor).
• Able to engage and educate students across all year groups KS1/KS2.
• Knowledge and understanding of various SEND is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring sessions to a student in need of academic support either 1:1 or small group.
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across different year groups, adhering to current curriculum.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and promote student development.
• Ensure sessions are recorded and EOW feedback is provided in a report.
