Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking an enthusiastic KS1/KS2 Primary Teacher to support a welcoming school in DE7, Devon. The role is on a flexible supply basis with potential to develop into a longer-term placement.

You will deliver engaging lessons, adapt teaching to meet individual needs, and work with families to support children’s academic, social and emotional development. A dedicated consultant and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and UK primary teaching experience.
• Experience teaching KS1 and KS2 and adapting lessons to individual needs.
• Commitment to safeguarding and positive behaviour management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver KS1/KS2 lessons that engage and support pupil progress.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs including SEND.
• Create a positive classroom environment and promote respectful behaviour.
• Follow school routines and collaborate with colleagues to share feedback.
• Support families to help children’s academic, social and emotional development.
