Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking an enthusiastic KS1/KS2 Primary Teacher to support a welcoming school in DE7, where teamwork, curiosity and care shape everyday learning.

You'll hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience with the UK primary curriculum, including KS1/KS2 teaching and learning. The role is on a flexible supply basis, with potential to develop into a longer-term placement.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and UK primary curriculum experience.
• Solid understanding of KS1/KS2 teaching and learning.
• Commitment to safeguarding and an enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver KS1/KS2 lessons that engage and involve pupils.
• Adapt teaching to meet individual needs and support SEND.
• Create a positive classroom where children feel comfortable asking questions.
• Follow school routines and promote respectful, responsible behaviour.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain continuity and share feedback.
