Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking an enthusiastic KS1/KS2 Primary Teacher to support a welcoming school in DE7. You will deliver engaging lessons, adapt teaching to pupils’ needs, and work with families to support academic, social and emotional development.

The role offers flexible supply work with potential for longer-term placement for the right candidate. A commitment to safeguarding and an enhanced DBS is essential.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS and has experience teaching the UK primary curriculum.
• Demonstrates ability to teach KS1/KS2 with adaptability for different needs.
• Comfy with safeguarding and classroom management in primary settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging KS1/KS2 lessons that promote curiosity and participation.
• Adapt teaching to meet individual needs and support pupils with SEND.
• Build a positive classroom culture where pupils feel safe to ask questions.
• Follow school routines and encourage respectful behaviour.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain continuity and share feedback on learning.
