Vision for Education is seeking a part-time PPA Teacher to cover KS1 and KS2 across the DL9 area. You will deliver planned lessons, support class teachers during PPA time, and differentiate activities for mixed year groups. This role starts November 2026 and is ideal for a flexible, reliable primary teacher seeking short-term or day-to-day supply.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Have a good understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
• Be confident delivering lessons across different primary year groups.
• Be able to follow lesson plans and maintain continuity of learning.
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Be adaptable and able to establish positive relationships quickly.
• Have excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
• Be committed to supporting pupils' progress, confidence, and wellbeing.
• Be able to differentiate learning activities to meet individual needs.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
• Be reliable, professional, and flexible in your approach.
• Be available for part-time work in the DL9 area.

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging, planned lessons across KS1 and KS2.
• Follow lesson plans and learning objectives provided by class teachers.
• Adapt teaching approaches and resources to meet the needs of different year groups and abilities.
• Create a positive, safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor pupils' progress and provide feedback to support learning.
• Maintain continuity of learning during PPA time.
• Differentiate activities for varying abilities.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to meet learning needs.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and professional standards.
