Isle of Wight Council is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils in KS1/KS2 for a September start at Godshill. This part-time on-site role is permanent and suitable for someone who is passionate about helping children achieve.

The post offers the HAY Scale 5A with an actual salary of £19,727 (FTE £27,274). Working pattern is on-site, part-time, at Godshill. The ideal candidate will be committed to high standards, be well organised, creative, and able to handle pressure.

Qualifications

• LSA with experience of working with children in KS1/ KS2
• Committed to promoting high standards of pupil achievement and progress.
• Well organised, innovative, creative and motivating.
• Able to react positively to challenges.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Preferably has a relevant NVQ qualification.
• Proud member of the Disability Confident employer scheme
