Aspire People is recruiting a Short-Term Supply Teacher to work across primary schools in Leicestershire. You will deliver engaging lessons, follow school plans and support learning on a flexible day-to-day basis.

This role offers immediate start and variety across KS1 and KS2, with opportunities to gain experience, maintain high teaching standards and safeguard pupils. A supportive Aspire People consultant will help place you in suitable settings.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.
• Experience in a primary school setting.
• Ability to teach across KS1 and KS2.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexible, reliable and safeguarding-focused.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2.
• Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet pupils' needs.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and professionally.
• Maintain a high standard of teaching and pupil engagement.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and follow policies.
• Provide feedback to the class teacher where appropriate.
