Academics is working with an 'Outstanding' graded, modern primary school in Chelmsford that is seeking a passionate, driven, and ambitious KS1 Teacher to take the next step in their career and lead Science across the school. This role begins in September 2025 and is permanent.
The SLT is seeking a passionate and creative KS1 Class Teacher who is ready to take on additional responsibility as a Science Lead. The school values diversity and inclusivity, focusing on daily development for both pupils and staff.
The role involves leading the school to raise attainment in Science, including analyzing gaps in pupil knowledge, monitoring progress, and improving teaching in Science. You will be supported by the senior leadership team and will work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for all abilities.
The Head Teacher and SLT have high expectations for teaching and learning, aiming to make the curriculum fun and creative. You will have the opportunity to choose the year group you wish to teach from September, based on your preference and experience.
