Teach Plus is currently working with a small, friendly primary school located in North Finchley, seeking a KS2 Class Teacher to join their team in September.

The school is a ‘Good', Church of England primary school at the heart of the local community. They are committed to providing a quality education with diverse extracurricular activities, including kayaking, archery, music, and instrument tuition. The senior leadership team has designed an ambitious curriculum that excites children and fosters a love of learning.

As a KS2 Class Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing full classroom responsibilities for a KS2 class, including planning, preparation, marking, and assessments.
2. Planning and delivering lessons aligned with the KS2 national curriculum.
3. Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance learning.
4. Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
5. Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
6. Engaging with parents and the wider community to support student development.
7. Upholding the school's values and contributing to a positive school culture.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum.
2. Recent teaching experience within KS2.
3. A strong work ethic and commitment for at least one academic year.
4. UK-recognized Teaching Qualification with QTS.
5. Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.
6. Right to work in the UK.
