The Governors of St. Leonard’s Primary School are offering the opportunity for an outstanding, ambitious and highly motivated ECT teacher to join our teaching team from September 2025.

St. Leonard’s Primary School is a popular school that currently has 220 children on roll and a 26 place Governor run Nursery. Our school moved in September 2023 to a new, larger site which will provide the successful candidate an opportunity to be part of our growth story in the next chapter of St. Leonard’s journey and development. Our new site is based at the Kingston Centre.

• KS1 experience is essential.
• Have recent experience of teaching Phonics.
• Be committed to raising standards of progress and attainment and closing gaps in learning.
• Be able to work effectively, flexibly and supportively as part of a team.
• Have high expectations of their performance in line with the teacher standards and the performance of the children.
• Be prepared to participate in all aspects of St. Leonard’s school life.
