Job summary

Education Matters Group seeks a dedicated KS1 Class Teacher for a long‑term teaching opportunity at a primary school in West Molesey. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, foster pupil confidence, and support the development of essential literacy, numeracy and social skills.

The role requires QTS, experience teaching Year 1 or Year 2, and a strong grasp of KS1. You will promote phonics, build classroom routines, and communicate effectively with colleagues and parents.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Experience teaching Year 1 or Year 2.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons aligned with the KS1 National Curriculum.
• Support pupils in reading, writing and maths development.
• Create a structured, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.

Are you a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher with a passion for helping young learners reach their full potential? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic KS1 Class Teacher to join a primary school in West Molesey for a long-term teaching opportunity. This position is suited to a teacher who enjoys creating engaging lessons, building pupils' confidence and supporting children as they develop their essential literacy, numeracy and social skills.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous experience teaching Year 1 or Year 2.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum.
• Confidence in delivering phonics and early literacy lessons.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
