Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 pupil with additional needs in Christchurch, Dorset. The role is full-time in a primary school setting, offering the chance to contribute to a nurturing educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil within a KS1 classroom.
• Support the pupil's academic, social and emotional development.
• Assist with implementation of tailored learning strategies and interventions.
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider school staff.
• Encourage engagement, independence and confidence throughout the school day.
• Build a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil.
