Job summary

Clyde & Co is seeking a Knowledge Lawyer to join the Marine, Trade and Commodities team in London. You will manage and deliver knowledge initiatives, support lawyers with know-how, precedents, templates and market insights, and drive innovation through legal tech and AI.

The role is permanent with flexible working: at least 2 days in the office and 3 days remote. You will collaborate with partners, fee earners and business services to strengthen knowledge sharing, support business development

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' PQE or equivalent as a practising lawyer or Knowledge Lawyer in marine, trade and commodities.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills with senior lawyers and business leaders.
Experience in knowledge management, training, precedents and content development is desirable.

Responsibilities

Monitor legal developments and regulatory changes affecting marine, trade and commodities sectors.
Maintain and improve know‑how resources, precedents, templates and knowledge databases.
Promote knowledge sharing through team meetings and knowledge initiatives.
Respond to ad hoc knowledge queries from lawyers within the team.
Develop market-facing content with partners and business development teams.
Produce client alerts, briefings, thought leadership and training materials.
Identify opportunities to apply AI and technology to improve delivery.
