Muirton is a standalone unit specialising in supporting individuals with behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia.
The ward requires a keen and motivated individual to maintain high standards. Applicants should demonstrate awareness and be willing to adapt to the changing needs of the Moray Older Adult Psychiatry service.
Previous experience working in acute admission or with older adults would be advantageous. Good communication skills and the ability to work flexibly and harmoniously within a multidisciplinary team are essential.
Support and encouragement will be provided to meet mandatory and other essential training requirements.
This is a rotational position working a flexible 12-hour shift system to ensure continuity and meet service needs.
The position is for 37 hours per week and is permanent.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available for successful candidates.
