Job summary

Slug & Lettuce in Glasgow is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to support the Head Chef with orders, stock checks, food hygiene and kitchen maintenance. You will help prepare high-quality dishes, oversee deliveries and keep the kitchen clean and compliant, while collaborating with the team to hit targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or kitchen environment preferred.
• Able to assist with food orders, stock taking and hygiene.
• Able to maintain kitchen equipment and assist with deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Overseeing deliveries.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
