Job summary

Slug & Lettuce Milton Keynes is recruiting a Kitchen Team Member to support a fast-paced kitchen in our Slug & Lettuce venue. You will assist with food preparation, ensure dishes are prepared to spec, and maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.

You will oversee deliveries, help with stock taking, and contribute ideas to improve kitchen performance. We welcome applicants who are passionate about hospitality and eager to learn and grow within Stonegate Group.

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality and a can-do attitude.
• Eagerness to learn new skills daily.
• Keen eye for detail and food quality.
• Ability to assist Head Chef with orders, stock taking and hygiene.
• Experience maintaining kitchen equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times.
• Overseeing deliveries.
• Offer suggestions to improve kitchen performance.
• Work with the team to achieve company targets.
