Job summary

Slug & Lettuce Glasgow is recruiting a Kitchen Team Member to support the kitchen in delivering high-quality dishes and maintaining hygiene standards. You will assist with food prep, help manage orders and stock, and work closely with the Head Chef and team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

The role celebrates a passion for hospitality, willingness to learn, a keen eye for detail, and teamwork to deliver great guest experiences in a busy pub environment.

• The ability to assist the Head Chef with orders, stock taking, food hygiene at Slug and Lettuce
• The experience to maintain kitchen equipment

Some of the things you will be doing as a Kitchen Team Member

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Overseeing deliveries.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Work with the team to achieve company targets.
