Job summary

Premier Inn in Sunderland City Centre is hiring a Kitchen Team Member on a permanent, part-time basis (16 hours/week) at up to £13.06 per hour. You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals for guests, working evenings and weekends as part of a busy team. Training is provided and there are benefits including staff discounts and pension options.

This role does not require hotel experience; you’ll be supported by the team and learned on the job to deliver quality meals for guests.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required.
• Reliability and ability to work in a busy kitchen.
• Willingness to learn and support the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service.
• Keep kitchen clean and organised for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and manage stock.
• Work closely with hotel team to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure meals look appealing before leaving the kitchen.
