Whitbread is hiring a Kitchen Team Member for Durham City Centre Premier Inn. You will help prepare, cook and serve meals that guests rely on during their stay, with shifts including evenings and weekends.

The role offers 16 contracted hours per week and a permanent contract, paying up to £13.06 per hour. You’ll work closely with the hotel team to ensure smooth service, learn kitchen routines, and develop fundamentals in food safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required; diverse backgrounds welcome.
• Must be reliable and able to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and take on tasks in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and manage stock.
• Work with the hotel team to ensure smooth service.
• Make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right.
