Job summary

Premier Inn in Cardiff Bay is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to support breakfast and dinner service. You’ll prepare ingredients, cook and plate meals, and help keep the kitchen clean and organised.

No hotel experience is required; we’ve welcomed people from supermarkets, cafés and fast‑serve environments. If you’re reliable, enjoy teamwork and don’t mind busy shifts, this could be your first step in Premier Inn.

Qualifications

• You don’t need hotel experience. Some of our Kitchen Team Members come from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.
• If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.
• What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right
