Job summary

Premier Inn Kendal Central is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to join a busy kitchen. This permanent, 30-hour-per-week role offers pay up to £13.06 per hour and is based at Maude Street, Kendal, Cumbria. You’ll assist with breakfast and dinner service, stock control, deliveries and teamwork to ensure guests receive great meals.

Shifts include evenings and weekends; no hotel experience is required, and we’ll teach you the rest while you build your kitchen skills and confidence.

Qualifications

• Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.
• If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service.
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be.
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly.
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right.
