Job summary

Whitbread PLC is hiring a Kitchen Team Member for the Leicester Forest East Premier Inn. This permanent, part-time role involves 20 hours per week with shifts including evenings and weekends, and a pay up to £13.06 per hour.

You’ll work as part of a team to prepare, cook and serve meals that enhance guests’ stays. No hotel experience is required; we welcome applicants from various backgrounds and will train you as needed.

Qualifications

• This could be your first kitchen role or you may have previously worked in hospitality.
• You’re reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
• Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service.
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be.
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly.
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right.
