Job summary

Keystones, part of Social Pub and Kitchen, is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to join our busy York venue. You will support the Head Chef with orders, stock checks and hygiene, while producing high‑quality dishes and keeping the kitchen clean and organized.

You’ll bring a passion for hospitality, a willingness to learn, and attention to detail, helping the team deliver great food and service to guests across shifts and busy events.

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality and guest service.
• Willingness to learn new skills daily.
• Keen eye for detail and quality control.
• Ability to assist Head Chef with orders, stock checks, and hygiene.
• Experience in maintaining and using kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and cooking to specification.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently for guests.
• Keep kitchen clean, hygienic and well organized at all times.
• Oversee deliveries and stock reception.
• Suggest ideas to improve kitchen performance and efficiency.
• Work with team to meet company targets.

Some of the things you will be doing as a Kitchen Team Member

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Overseeing deliveries.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Work with the team to achieve company targets.
