Job summary

Stonegate Group is seeking a Kitchen Team Member for our York venue near Keystones. You will assist the Head Chef with orders, stock taking, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and efficiency in a fast-paced kitchen to deliver great guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a passion for hospitality and guest experience.
• Eager to learn new skills on the job.
• Keen eye for detail and cleanliness in a busy kitchen.
• Able to assist the Head Chef with orders, stock takes and hygiene.
• Experience maintaining kitchen equipment and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and cooking to spec.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently for guests.
• Keep the kitchen clean and hygienic at all times.
• Oversee deliveries and quality of incoming stock.
• Suggest ideas to improve kitchen performance and efficiency.
• Work with the team to meet targets and deadlines.

Some of the things you will be doing as a Kitchen Team Member

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Overseeing deliveries.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Work with the team to achieve company targets.
