Job summary

Stonegate Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to join the Fairhaven Lytham site. You will support the kitchen team with food preparation, stock control, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.

Ideal applicants are passionate about hospitality, eager to learn, and keen to contribute ideas to improve kitchen performance while working as part of a friendly team in a busy pub environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food service.
• Willingness to learn new skills daily.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Want to assist with kitchen administration and orders.
• Knowledge of food hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen.
• Oversee deliveries and stock as needed.
• Support Head Chef and team to meet targets.
• Contribute ideas to improve kitchen performance.

• A passion for Hospitality
• A willingness to learn new skills everyday
• A keen eye for detail
• The ability to assist the Head Chef with orders, stock taking, food hygiene at Fairhaven Lytham
• The experience to maintain kitchen equipment

Some of the things you will be doing as a Kitchen Team Member

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Overseeing deliveries.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Work with the team to achieve company targets.
