Job summary

The Green House pub in Belper, operated by Stonegate Group, is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to support our busy kitchen and help deliver great pub meals. You will work closely with the Head Chef and team to prepare dishes to specification and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Join a lively hospitality environment where you can learn new skills, contribute ideas, and grow within a supportive, inclusive company. Regular shifts and a focus on teamwork are central to the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or kitchen roles.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow guidance.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to assist with orders, stock taking and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Experience in maintaining kitchen equipment and line checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes to specification for guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times.
• Oversee deliveries to the kitchen.
• Offer ideas to improve kitchen performance.

Some of the things you will be doing as a Kitchen Team Member

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Overseeing deliveries.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Work with the team to achieve company targets.
