Job summary

Stonegate Group in Glasgow is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to support the Head Chef with orders, stock checks, and hygiene while contributing to the creation and delivery of high-quality dishes. You’ll be part of a vibrant pub kitchen that values teamwork, initiative, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality and guest service.
• Willingness to learn new skills daily in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to assist Head Chef with orders, stock checks and hygiene.
• Experience maintaining kitchen equipment and cleanliness.

Some of the things you will be doing as a Kitchen Team Member

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Work with the team to achieve company targets.

The Merchant is set over two floors, and we aim to provide comfortable surroundings for our guests to enjoy their time with us no matter the occasion. We are a small local bar in a large city setting.
