Job summary

The George Tapps in Bournemouth is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to join Stonegate Group’s family of pubs. You’ll support the Head Chef with orders, stock control, and maintaining food hygiene standards while delivering consistent, high-quality dishes to our guests.

This role focuses on learning new skills daily, working with a friendly team, and contributing to a welcoming, inclusive culture across our venues. On-site position with opportunities to grow within a large hospitality group.

Qualifications

• A passion for hospitality.
• Willingness to learn new skills daily.
• Ability to assist Head Chef with orders, stock taking and food hygiene.
• Experience maintaining kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas to improve kitchen performance.
• Work with the team to achieve company targets.
