Job summary

Premier Inn Redhill Reigate is recruiting a Kitchen Team Leader to run daily kitchen operations, supervise rotas, place orders and lead the team through busy services. You will work with the Hotel Manager to maintain food quality and audit readiness, building skills toward Head Chef.

You’ll own ordering, stock control, and cost management, lead during service, and ensure health and safety standards are met. This hands-on role supports career growth in UK hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team in a busy environment.
• Ability to manage rotas and orders with attention to cost and quality.
• Strong hygiene and safety focus with audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own food ordering, stock control and keeping food costs on track for the entire hotel
• Take the lead during service – organising the team and managing workflow
• Prepare, cook, and serve menu items to spec, from breakfasts to pub classics
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are met and records kept up to date
• Step up when needed – running shifts and helping new team members settle in
• Learn kitchen management to progress to more senior roles
