Job summary

Premier Inn Redhill Reigate is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to run daily kitchen operations, managing rotas, placing orders and leading the team through busy services.

You will work closely with the Hotel Manager to uphold food quality and hygiene standards, with a clear path to future Head Chef responsibilities within the UK’s leading hospitality group, Whitbread.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team in a busy hotel or restaurant.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
• Ability to manage rotas, orders and stock effectively.

Responsibilities

• Own food ordering, stock control and keep food costs on track.
• Take the lead during service – organise the team and workflow.
• Prepare, cook, and serve menu items to spec, including breakfast and pub classics.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are met and records kept up to date.
• Step up by running shifts and helping new team members settle in.
• Learn kitchen management processes to grow into more senior roles.

Kitchen Team Leader – Redhill Reigate – Premier Inn

Join our team at Premier Inn Redhill Reigate as a Kitchen Team Leader and move your Chef career forward. You’ll run the kitchen day to day – managing rotas, placing food orders, leading the team through busy services, and keeping everything audit-ready. Working closely with your Hotel Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the kitchen – from food quality to hygiene. It’s a hands‑on leadership role that’s perfect for anyone ready to build the skills to become a Head Chef.

PAY RATE:

Up to £14.81 per hour

HOURS:

30 hours per week
