Premier Inn Leeds South (Birstall) is looking for a Kitchen Team Leader to run the kitchen day to day, manage rotas, place food orders, and lead the team through busy services, with a close working relationship to the Hotel Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role with a clear path to Head Chef.

You will own food quality, hygiene and cost control, while developing leadership skills within Whitbread’s hospitality group.

Responsibilities

• Own food ordering, stock control and keep food costs on track.
• Lead during service: organise the team, manage workflow, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Prepare, cook, and serve our menu to spec – from Premier Inn breakfasts to pub classics.
• Make sure the kitchen always meets health, safety and hygiene standards – keep records up to date.
• Step up when needed – run shifts and help new team members settle in.
• Learn the ins and outs of kitchen management so you’re ready to take on more senior roles as you grow your career with us.
