Job summary

Greeneking is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to guide a busy kitchen, ensuring every dish is prepared to the highest standards and service runs smoothly. You will lead by example, support your team, and uphold safety and quality throughout every shift.

You will deputise for management during busy periods, coordinate staff during peak times, and drive consistent, high-quality food service while maintaining a positive and inclusive team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Passion for delivering tasty and well-presented meals.
• Be a role model by maintaining high standards.
• Ability to think on your feet during busy service.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform role safely and understand allergen controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to ensure the safety of the team and visitors.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve issues in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy service, ensuring smooth operation.
