Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to guide a busy pub kitchen and ensure the team has what they need to run smoothly. You will help deliver dishes that meet our high standards and support staff to perform at their best.

You will uphold hygiene and safety, deputise for management when needed, and coordinate the team during peak service times to keep service clockwork efficient. This role offers opportunities across Greene King’s brands.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy kitchen and delivering consistent quality.
• Strong command of English and ability to follow allergen controls.
• Able to lead by example and delegate during busy service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy service, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
