Job summary

Stonegate Group is hiring a Kitchen Team Leader at Crutched Friar, a UK pub in London. You will coach and mentor the kitchen team, maintain high food standards, and uphold COSHH, Food Safety and health & safety knowledge in daily operations.

You will support food preparation, supervise in the absence of the Kitchen Manager, manage stock and orders, and ensure a clean, compliant, and efficient kitchen. A proactive, collaborative approach will help drive the brigade forward and deliver memorable

Qualifications

• Ability to support, coach and mentor your team
• High standard of food knowledge and skill
• Up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S knowledge
• Willingness to develop personally and advance the brigade at Crutched Friar

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for guests
• Oversee the kitchen team in the Kitchen Manager's absence
• Assist with stock management, ordering and supplies
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times
• Offer suggestions to improve kitchen performance
• Lead the team to achieve company targets
